Where do I go from here?Earlier this year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention developed an educational resource for parents of children with newly diagnosed hearing loss. The CD-ROM is entitled, A Parent’s Guide to Hearing Loss. It was devloped and reviewed by both parents and professionals.
The CD-ROM, which is available free of charge, includes information about hearing loss and communication options as well as information about programs and services to help parents and their children.
